If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, or just simply an enjoyable stroll, then the markets are for you!

If a selection of great food isn’t enough to excite, the city’s array of wonderful shopping amenities can certainly provide for those looking for the perfect Christmas present. Later opening hours are in operation to accommodate all shoppers, however to avoid the Christmas chaos make sure to have your presents wrapped early this month.

If the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shoppers doesn’t sound too appealing, why not check out George Square’s ‘Glasgow on Ice’, which offers visitors outdoor skating, fairground rides and a big wheel that provides spectacular views of the city. The activities at George square, which are open until the 31st of December, are great fun for friends and families, and are the perfect opportunity to relax after a busy day shopping!
